New Toll System in Slovakia as from 2010 – pre-register with UTA today!
Presumably with effect from January 2010, a new electronic toll system will be replacing the vignette in Slovakia. Consequently tolls for most motorways and many other federal roads in Slovakia, for vehicles of 3.5 tons and above, will have to be settled by means of the OBU device. The new toll system is based on a satellite system – similar to the German toll system.
